I try to stay away from the BS visions of Silicon Valley: “bettering the world through quantum computing analysis of edge data.”

If your vision is really to better the world, there are better ways to do it than software development and marketing services. Go lead a life throwing aside all your worldly desires and do that.

We can, however, apply our talents to help other organizations who are carrying out their essential missions, whether it be a nonprofit doing good or a business providing jobs and economic growth. We have a responsibility to help them in their efforts.

What we can do is better the lives of the people we work with every day. Your peers need a hand, support, encouragement, and friendship. We can help them be the best versions of themselves by being there for each other.
